Adelphia Franchise Transfer: First Deadline Approaching
Many communities considering the Adelphia franchise assignment request (i.e., those that have received an FCC Form 394 from Time Warner or Comcast) will be facing an important “30 day deadline” in the next few days.
According to FCC regulations, communities have 30 days following the receipt of an FCC Form 394 to claim that the material was inaccurate or incomplete. 47 C.F.R. § 76.502. The first 30 days also provide an important opportunity to request additional information from the cable operators.
